Recycling button batteries

Go to the nearest local appliance shop, clock shop, camera shop, or hearing aid shop and put button batteries in the collection bucket after notifying the shop staff.

Note: Coin-type lithium batteries, which are thinner than button batteries, are not accepted. When disposing of this type of battery, put cellophane tape over positive and negative terminals and follow the instructions of the local government for disposal. (Battery types are CR and BR)

Button battery collection route

Collected button batteries taken by the collection/transport company are sent to the recycler and then disposed of and recycled properly. No batteries end up in landfill.
