Tips on changing batteries early
The life span of a battery is about three years.* After three years, electrolyte reduction accelerates, internal parts become exposed, and the battery becomes more degraded, so early replacement of batteries is recommended.
*For taxis, limousines, vehicles used for business such as in the transportation industry and special vehicles (farming, construction) the period is less than three years.
Batteries with the following symptoms should be changed sooner
If electrolyte levels are uneven or water has to be added more frequently, we suggest that you replace the battery as soon as possible to avoid trouble.
Use the proper battery for your vehicle (bus, truck, taxi or other business vehicle, construction equipment or farming equipment).
